Backdraft is made of self-contained and pre-configured inflow blocks; we call 'em “modules”. Creating your own custom page layout is as simple as stacking these modules on a page – just like your children's construction blocks you step on in the dark.

All modules in Backdraft are fully responsive. Because they utilize Freeway 7’s WYSIWYG breakpoints feature, it’s incredibly easy to customize the appearance of your website for devices of different sizes.

You chose Freeway because it lets you design – why should that change now? Backdraft has been intentionally built to be as unstyled as possible, offering you the freedom to do what you do best: design.

By using inflow construction techniques and Freeway best practices, you can have confidence that your website will render correctly and be CMS-friendly. It’s been throughly tested to function properly in nearly all browsers – down to, and including, the mischievous IE8.
